Dear Burning Man Alumni,
A giant thank you for all the ways you bring Burning Man to life.
We have great news! The care and commitment you dedicate to your role at Burning Man Project puts you in a unique position. No one is more qualified than you are to get Black Rock City tickets into the hands of some truly remarkable humans. To help make this happen, you can assign up to four tickets and two vehicle passes for purchase through the Stewards Sale. Because of the amazing stewards you invite through this process, Black Rock City 2026 will be brighter, bolder, and more innovative. We can’t wait to share this experience with them.
Each ticket and/or vehicle pass can be assigned to whomever you’d like. If you, personally, want to buy tickets you need to assign them to yourself.
What’s new for 2026? We heard you and we’ve streamlined the Stewards Sale process, making it easier for you to allocate tickets. Everyone you invite will have access to all ticket price tiers — including the lowest priced-tickets.
Even if you won’t be joining us this year, we want to be sure you have the opportunity to offer access to the event to whomever you wish. Maybe you know a wonderful Burner who hasn’t been in many years but wants to return and you’d like to ease their path. Maybe you know of an art collective and want to show your support by helping someone on that crew to access tickets. Or maybe this is just what’s needed to get that old friend out to the playa for the very first time. How you use these tickets to make BRC even better is completely up to you!
Here’s what you need to do to get your group into the sale:
- Log in to your Burner Profile after 12pm (noon) PST on February 20, 2026.
- Click on the name of your group in the “2026 Allocator” box in the “Tickets” section. You will see everything assigned to your group on top of the page and a form to add invitees below.
- Add people to your group by submitting their Burner Profile email address. Every person you invite MUST have a complete Burner Profile!
- Use the edit button next to your invitee’s name and specify the type and quantity of items you are allocating (number of tickets and/or vehicle passes).
- You do not need to specify a delivery method; your group members will be able to choose their own delivery method at checkout.
- Make sure to click the “Save Allocations” button to submit your choices.
- On February 27, the invitation period will end and the forms will be locked. Your assignments will then be exported and put into the ticketing system.
- By March 4, the group members you invited will receive an email with a link to complete the payment. That link will remain active until 12pm (noon) PDT on March 11, 2026.
- Please note that if you allocate more than one item (ticket/vehicle pass) for your invitee to purchase, they must purchase all items in one transaction. They will not be able to use different credit cards or divide up the order further.
Tiered ticket prices are an invitation to contribute to this grand city and community. Throughout the Stewards Sale tickets will be available at all price points — including $675. Those who choose a $775 ticket will cover the cost of their participation in BRC. Those who choose to pay more ($975, $1,500, or $3,000) help subsidize Honoraria art grants, event operational costs, and lower-priced tickets for those who need to purchase tickets at a lower tier.
Please be discreet about your access to this sale (no social media mentions, no calls for “who needs tickets?”), and ask your recipients to do the same.
