Hello,
Thank you for submitting your Placed Camp Questionnaire!
Below you will find the information that you submitted in your questionnaire. You cannot make changes to most of this information once it has been submitted, but we can on your behalf. If you have changes or any questions, please contact us at [email protected] and in the email subject line include your camp’s name and requested sector (i.e. “[6:00] Camp Name – Change to questionnaire”). We know things change between the time you submit and Black Rock City. Please contact us especially if there are any changes before the event about your camp interactivity or population so change is OK and helps us adjust the map if needed.
Stay in touch with us: As the camp lead and primary contact with Placement, all email communication with the Placement Team on behalf of your camp must be through you. If you need to update the name and contact before the event, you must email us and cc: the new lead to confirm the transfer. Be sure to check your spam filters to allow for emails to come from us, as important information will come directly from [email protected] or [email protected] leading up to the event. A Placement Team member may contact you via email with follow up questions, so please be sure to be attentive to your inbox and respond immediately to help us make quicker decisions.
Decision timeline: Theme camps will be notified by mid-May about if your camp has been selected for placement status. All camps including theme camps and support camps will be notified by early June of your camp’s approximate dimensions and address for the event.
Placement Newsletter: Stay updated about the Placement process through the Placement Newsletter – important reminders, resources, and updates are shared in it so be sure to read them to keep up to date. You and the additional email contacts you submitted on your questionnaire will be subscribed. If you have any other campmates who wish to sign up, they can here.
Thanks again for submitting your Placed Camp Questionnaire for Black Rock City 2025. We all have got a lot of work ahead of us, and we’re excited to review each and every word you wrote to help find the best spot for you in BRC.
Good luck with your planning!
The Placement Team

Interactivity Description
This year, Mycodelic Forest plans to bring a similarly amazing experience to previous years. Our front of house has an inviting mycelium themed entrance, comfortable seating, thumping speakers, and a full-service bar. We provide an eclectic assortment of music to the ears of the city most hours of the day. The camp always welcomes wayward wanderers to find some shade, enjoy our company, lounge amongst plush toys and pillows, or belly up to the bar, where we serve Bloody Mary’s all morning and tasty homebrew beer after midday. We bring about 101 gallons of home brewed beer to serve to bring people together and socialize. Plan for at least one dance party. Along with these activities, our front of house offers different classes throughout the week. Interacting with our fellow Burners is very important to the lifeblood of the camp and we will heckle travelers wandering by until they step out of the heat of the day and enjoy a cold drink and good conversation.

Physical Description
A Shaded lounge with mushroom themed art festooning the walls, out front a sign sandwich board with a schedule of events invites you to come in. On one side there is a bar with a sign reading Convince us you need a drink. On the other side is a dj booth with mushroom themes at crowd level. Behind this is a white bus obscuring the camping area from front of the house. Behind the bus we have tents, and next to them obscured by a wall behind the bar is our back of house lounge area and kitchen. Our power sources are located _______. We use three shade structures divided into front of house (about ⅓) and back of house (about ⅔)
Night Lighting
We illuminate the street with a UV reactive mural painted on a 16×12 foot Archway which sits at the entrance to our lounge / beer serving area. The lounge area is lit with non motorized sound responsive LED lights around the DJ booth and fire simulating lamp bulbs surrounding our seating area. Our mushroom forest comes alive at night with glowing mushrooms of all sizes.

R.I.D.E. Details
Mycodelic Forest is as Radically Inclusive as it gets when we are on Playa. We thrive on the joy of inviting Burners into our camp for our events, and we are inviting to anyone who needs or wants to join us in our downtime. As a group, we want to make genuine connections with people. We will RIDE this year by being our jovial selves, having diverse offerings of fun, sensory interactions, and hosting a variety of people of all sorts. Off playa, we make sure everyone from our leadership to new members of camp have the tools to come to burning man with us regardless of barriers of income, ability, etc.

We are a mycologically based theme camp located in the 3 O clock sector. We love mushrooms and all fungus related things!
Like the mycelium that connects the roots of the forest, the Mycodelic Forest serves to connect the humans that pass through it.
Come sit in our shade and have a cold home brew beer while listening to a wide variety of music. You may learn something!
