Packing everything in black and yellow totes makes packing and unpacking Sojourner extremely fast. Sojourner has a max weight capacity, so limiting the weight of each tote also limits the overall cargo weight.

General

• Do not stand or sit on totes. It may break the lids or crack them and expose them to weather.

• Try to keep totes under 50lbs
• Do not overfill totes pressure from stacked totes can crack the lids

cleaning

• Pressure wash inside and outside to remove the majority of Playa & Dirt
• Move clean totes inside and away from cleaning area to prevent them from getting dirty again
• Quickly wipe down inside and outside with a clean cloth

labeling

• Use 1 inch white Gaff Tape for the sites
• Use 2 inch white Gaff Tape for the lid
• MAKE SURE TOTE NAME IS LEDGIBLE
• Place in between the indented area
• clean thoroughly with 70% rubbing alcohol and a clean rag to ensure adhesion
• All totes should have one QR code on the shorter side
